Description

What We're Looking For
Responsible for the profitable operation of large, mega projects.

Primary Focus Will Include:
  • Managing large complex projects for our clients
  • Assist in developing new work
  • Support Aviation projects in other locales
  • Develop and nurture existing key client relationships and serve as one of the primary company contacts on multiple medium to large size aviation projects with an emphasis on operational excellence, systems, and project management.
  • Estimates fees, determines scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts on the most complex projects of the largest magnitude.
  • Guide and nurture junior staff to become leaders in the field.
  • Provides oversight and monitoring of work to less experienced project managers.
  • Effectively manage a project team including sub-consultants with varying disciplines and in varying locations.
  • Will be responsible for working on-site at Tampa project location 5 days per week.
  • Directing consultant team and coordinating with contractor for design-build project work.


Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
  • 6+ years Project Management Skills
  • RA or PE license preferred
  • 15 years relevant project or program management experience
  • Strong leadership and organization skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Experience managing design-build projects.
  • Experience on airport terminal projects.
  • Experience implementing TSA guidelines.
  • Large project experience (over $200M construction cost).
  • Must be willing and able to travel as needed.
  • Licensed or ability to get Registered Architect or Professional Engineer license in Florida
  • Ability to obtain a security badge at U.S airports is required


What You'll Need

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing and delivering mega projects on-time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client.
  • Develops and nurtures key client relationships and is the primary company contact on the project.
  • Identifies and markets additional business opportunities with key clients.
  • Sets priorities, secure resources and obtain commitment to work according to the project planned with department managers and section heads.
  • Consistently maintains an overall view for the progress of the assigned project.
  • Oversees the Project Managers and as a functional manager, to support with the right resources, competencies and tools that are available.
  • Ensures the achievement of product quality, project targets, budget control and project profitability over the project portfolio.
  • Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions and strategies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or relevant discipline
  • 16 years engineering experience, including directing large mega projects
