Description
The Director, Human Resources and Organizational Development is responsible for overseeing/managing the talent acquisition, onboarding, talent development, employment related activities for the MNAA. Directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate organizational development programs to support a strong employee development culture.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Oversees talent acquisition and management functions by providing consultative support to the Talent Acquisition Specialist and Manager, Talent Management.
- Directly manages all employment-related issues such as supporting managers with disciplinary actions or performance-related activities.
- Provides strategic and operational direction for organizational development processes, ensuring that talent development processes and programs are effective and to deliver a diverse, promotable and engaged talent pipeline for business critical roles.
- Ensures that Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is embedded in all areas of HR practices.
- Identifies talent acquisition needs; supports function with best practices.
- Participates in annual budget planning.
- Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including reviewing reports and metrics from the human resources information system (HRIS).
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, works with the Manager, HR
- Operations to create/update policies, procedures and work instructions.
- Evaluates strategies and programs to measure the achievement of established goals; develops, tracks and implements metrics for measuring the effectiveness of projects and programs.
- Effectively coaches and manages staff, provides constructive performance evaluations and ensures staff has the tools and resources to perform their jobs.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies knowledge.
- Maintains regular and on-time attendance.
- Follows all safety regulations.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree (Required)
Experience: 7-10 years Managing Human Resources Function (Required)
Licenses & Certifications: PHR (Required); SHRM-SCP (Preferred)
